FTI is an innovative manufacturing company based in the UK with associated companies and representatives in many areas of the world.  FTI specialises in supplying the oil and gas business and are able to boast specifications from some of the leading international operators including Shell, ExxonMobil, BGI and Enagas. Many of these specifications are to protect insulation and perform corrosion protection to solve problems which other systems have failed to do. By utilising these products and systems our clients aim to achieve reduced "Boil Off" of gases and Lowest Life Cycle Costs. FTI employ experienced professionals able to understand the typical problems caused by Corrosion under Insulation (CUI) and Corrosion generally and to deliver innovative solutions which lengthen Maintenance Free Periods.  FTI will assist to provide training, design and engineering backup for the full range of our products.

Key Products:

FTI manufacture a range of products based on fibre reinforced polymers "FRP" and pre-insulated piping systems.

FibaShield Pre-Insulated Pipe - machine applied insulation and cladding of pipe. Suitable for pipes operating at -163 to +170 deg cent. and between 2" and 48". Insulation/cladding of pipes performed outside the immediate construction site - the system is fully mobile and cost effective to mobilise and demobilise so can be moved to suit each project. The system improves H&S by removing c.70% of labour from site, improves QC and reduces costs by as much as 40%.

FibaShield Corrosion Protection - machine applied FRP over blasted and primed steel to provide a strong coating which is extremely difficult to damage during handling or operations. Suitable for temperatures -40 to +120 deg cent. Use on Jetties, Piling, Risers, Underground and wherever Mechanical Damage can be a problem.

FibaRoll - FRP delivered on rolls and cured with light to form a strong reinforced polymer which is Fire Retardant (ASTM E84 15/50), Chemical Resistant, UV Resistant and hard to damage. Typical uses are Insulation Cladding,  Underground/Interface Piping, Pipe Reinforcement for Rehabilitation, Tank/Bund Linings etc.

FibaClad - a pre-cured moulding to fit over insulated pipes. Similar features to FibaRoll. Very quick and easy to fit. 

FibaWearpad - pre-moulded pad to adhere to pipes in the support area. Probably the most common corrosion found on existing plants which is easily solved with this engineered product.
